This is a great quote, and I wish I could follow it. Trying to keep enthusiasm after failure is like trying to keep confidence and self esteem after you have been rejected by a girl/guy. Never easy. Maybe the one missing piece that I always forget about is that the way to keep enthusiasm alive is to remember what your goal is. As long as you can still visualize that goal, you’ll be able to keep moving forward, even when you fail. I have been visualizing a double decker sandwich with a bag of chips and a pickle spear for about 5 hours now. I have made 3 attempts at willing this combo into my life. All have been failures as of now. I am afraid my enthusiasm is fading.
