I have never had a cat of my own, but I’ve lived with roommates who have. This has to be one of the most annoying sleep disturbances ever. Pawing at the door and meowing at the top of their little lungs. And then you open the door and they act like they weren’t just meowing for an hour straight. Lol. It’s like an annoying ex who shows up at your house, unannounced, in the middle of the night and won’t stop banging on your door and screaming “let me in!”.
